Delete your Driver X-Ray account

This page explains how to delete your Driver X-Ray account and the personal data linked to it. Driver X-Ray is the CDL driver app by CDL Xray, for Android and iOS, together with the driver portal at cdl-xray.com/driver. One account covers both, so deleting it removes you from both.
How to request deletion
- Email support@CDL-Xray.com from the email address you sign in to Driver X-Ray with.
- Write "Delete my account" in the subject or in the message.
- We reply to confirm that you want your account deleted for good.
- Once you confirm, we delete your account and the data listed below within 30 days and write to you when it is done.
What we delete
Your account: email address, password, name and username.
Your driver details: date of birth, CDL number and issuing state, and phone number.
Your MVR orders and reports, including the report files and their analysis.
The devices you set a PIN on, and any reviews you wrote.
After deletion you can no longer sign in with this email address, in the app or on the website.
What we keep, and for how long
Payment records for your MVR orders (amount, date and payment reference, never card details) for up to 7 years, as tax and accounting rules require.
Copies in our backups, which are overwritten within 30 days.
Data we are required to keep by law or to investigate fraud, only for as long as that requires.
Delete some data, keep the account
You can also ask us to delete only part of your data, for example your MVR reports or your phone number, and keep using the app. Email support@CDL-Xray.com from your account's email address and tell us what to delete.
Why we ask for your account's email
We accept requests only from the email address of the account. This stops someone else from deleting your account.
